6.30 FOR 7.00PM ON TUESDAY 14 JULY 2015

Sport Richmond, as part of its programme for increasing the capacity and trying to secure the sustainability of voluntary sports clubs in the borough is please to invite you to a special open meeting on Tuesday 14 July.

Sport Richmond is delighted that Pete Maguire, Project Manager, Club Matters will be presenting at this event. Club Matters is Sport England’s one stop shop for sports clubs. Club Matters provides free, convenient, practical resources to help you develop and run a sustainable club.

The online resource hosts a wide range of tools, top tips and quick and easy guides to help with the day-to-day running of clubs supplemented by face-to-face support in the form of workshops and mentoring. The presentation will show you how to make best use of the support, resources and tools available.

Numbers are limited to around 40 and consequently we would ask clubs to send a single delegate on this occasion and to let the secretary know as soon as possible if they are going to attend, and ideally by 14 June.

All those attending will have an opportunity for unique registration with the Club Matters programme.

You can find out more about the programme at

There will also be details about the new Sport Richmond web site

We are very grateful to Orleans House Gallery for hosting this meeting which coincides with the exhibition Team Spirit: Rugby, Rowing and Beyond which looks at local, national and international history of sport through pictures, artefacts and local stories.

Refreshments will be served and there will be time to view the exhibition.

Please respond as soon as possible your name, club and email address to
